CFish — Terms of Use
Welcome to CFish
CFish is a Christian dating application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (this “Agreement”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE)
Zero tolerance. CFish prohibits any form of child sexual exploitation and abuse. This includes grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and the creation, possession, solicitation, or distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
We do not allow any content that sexualizes or endangers children—whether real or fictional—including images, videos, text, illustrations, or links. This prohibition applies even if the intent is to raise awareness or condemn the conduct.
Any violation will result in immediate account removal and reporting to authorities. Where we have actual knowledge of apparent CSAE, CFish will submit a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), which may share the report with relevant domestic or international law enforcement.
Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be 18 years or older to use CFish.
- When creating an account, you must provide accurate information, including email address, username, gender, age, religion, body type, and sexual orientation.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Suspect unauthorized use? Contact support@cfishes.com immediately.
Community Standards (Faith-Based Conduct)
CFish is a faith-centered community grounded in respect and Christian values. You agree that you will not post, share, or engage in content or behavior that is:
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, exploitative, or otherwise obscene.
- Harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory.
- Violent or inciting violence; illegal or promoting illegal activity.
- False, misleading, infringing, or invasive of privacy or publicity rights.
- Related to minors in any sexualized or endangering way (see CSAE section above).
CFish may remove content, restrict features, or suspend/terminate accounts to protect users and uphold these standards.
Content & License
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant CFish a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content for operating and improving the Service. Some items (e.g., gifts, messages) may persist in limited contexts even after deletion as permitted by law and system design.
Privacy
Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, share, and protect your information, including sensitive fields (religion and sexual orientation).
Subscriptions & In‑App Purchases
- CFish uses a VIP Membership model. Subscribing via the Apple App Store or Google Play unlocks full access to all features. Non‑subscribers may have limited functionality (e.g., viewing likes and guest posts).
- All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and are subject to their terms. Auto‑renewal applies unless you cancel through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings before the renewal date.
- Deleting the app or your CFish account does not cancel an active subscription. Manage cancellations directly in your platform account settings.
- Three‑Day Right to Cancel (U.S.). In states where applicable to dating services, you may cancel without penalty within three business days of purchase. If you subscribed with Apple, refund requests are handled by Apple. If you subscribed with Google Play, please contact us at support@cfishes.com for assistance consistent with Google’s policies.
Safety, Reporting & Enforcement
- We may monitor, review, or remove content and restrict or terminate accounts to enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect users.
- We may report suspected illegal activity (including CSAE) to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- We may preserve and disclose information to comply with legal processes or protect rights, property, and safety.
Copyright & DMCA
If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to our Copyright Agent at support@cfishes.com. Your notice must include: (1) identification of the work; (2) identification of the infringing material; (3) contact information; (4) a statement of good‑faith belief; (5) a statement under penalty of perjury; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We may remove or disable access to material and terminate repeat infringers.
Acceptable Use
- No spamming, phishing, malware, or interference with the Service.
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or unauthorized access.
- No commercial use without written consent; no sale or transfer of accounts.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time using the in‑app delete function or by contacting support@cfishes.com. Deletion does not cancel an active subscription (see Subscriptions).
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CFish is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill.
Governing Law (United States)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles, and applicable U.S. federal law.
Dispute Resolution; Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Los Angeles County, California. You and CFish agree to arbitrate on an individual basis only; class, collective, or representative actions are not permitted. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
Either party may seek temporary or preliminary equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, to protect its rights pending arbitration.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date above or providing additional notice as required. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
